Plan your keuka lake visit

Things to know before visiting the Keuka Lake Wine Trail.

The Keuka Lake Wine Trail will continue to update this page with necessary information about visiting, and Member Wineries' hours and policies. Check out our tips and top things to know before visiting to help you plan your visit to Keuka Lake.

GROUP SIZES:

It's recommended to travel in smaller groups. 4-8 people is most ideal for wineries to accommodate your group comfortably. Some wineries can take larger groups, but you need to arrange that ahead of time with each individual winery.

RESERVATIONS:

Some wineries encourage reservations, but will accept walk-ins.

TRANSPORTATION:

Please travel responsibly! Plan ahead and make sure you have a designated driver as you travel along the trail. Want to hire a drive? Check out our Transportation Partners.

Ride share companies are not as reliable in the Finger Lakes region, which is why it's important to plan ahead.

We thank you for your patience, support and compliance of the current policies at each business. Below is a list of our Member Wineries and their current hours and offerings.

Frequently asked questions

Learn more about what the Keuka Lake Wine Trail offers.

  • ARE TASTING PASSPORTS AVAILABLE?

Yes. Our tasting passports are 100% digital and can be easily purchased on our website.

  • HOW DO I KNOW IF A WINERY CAN SHIP TO MY STATE?

Each state has its own regulations regarding licenses to ship wine to consumers who reside in their state.

Each winery manages which licenses they choose to obtain for shipping wine; therefore each winery is different on which states they can ship to. Please check their websites or call to see if they can ship to your state. View all of our Member Wineries here.

  • WHAT WINE TRAIL EVENTS ARE HAPPENING THIS YEAR?

    2026 Event Dates:

    Friday, April 24th - Saturday, April 25thth, 2026: Sips & Succulents (NEW)

Saturday, June 6th, 2026: Wine & Cheese Lovers

Saturday, November 14th, 2024: Immersive Wine & Food Experience: Handcrafted Holidays

  • DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION TO TASTE WINE?

The short answer: It's encouraged, but not all the time, and not at every winery.

    The long answer:

Heron Hill Winery, Keuka Spring Vineyards, and Agricolae Estate Winery  accepts resverations, but they will also take walk-ins is space allows. You can do so by visiting their websites or giving them a call directly.

Weis Vineyards, Keuka Spring Vineyards, Domaine LeSeurre Winery, and Vineyard View Winery are first come, first serve.

If traveling in a larger group (over 8 people), reservations are smart and even required at times.

  • CAN I VISIT WITH A LARGER GROUP?

Each member winery has different policies when it comes to groups. That information can be found here

Always call ahead and make a resveration if you're traveling with a group larger than 6-8.

  • CAN I TRAVEL BY LIMO OR BUS?

Yes! Always be sure to have a safe plan for visiting the wine trail. Check out our transportation partners here

If you're traveling by limo or bus, always research and check individual wineries policies first on limos and buses.

  • IS RIDE SHARE AVAILABLE IN THE AREA?

Ride share companies like Uber & Lyft are not reliable in our area. While you may find a ride to one place, you may have trouble getting picked up.

We suggest you look into our transporation companies. Some will drive your own car!

If you have questions or need assistance, please e-mail us at info@keukawinetrail.com. We will respond within 24-48 hours.
